The Roxy on Regensburger Straße in Abensberg has been open since 1956, and its new building opened in 2021. Gerda and Jakob Kroiß run the cinema, whose screens seat up to 340 people between them. Alongside current releases it shows live broadcasts from the Metropolitan Opera in New York and the Royal Opera House in London, each with a sparkling wine reception. There are also Ladies Nights with a cocktail and afternoon screenings with coffee and cake. Schools and nurseries can book morning screenings from 5 euros per pupil. The small bar serves sparkling wine, wine and freshly made coffee.
