Dolby's HDR format. Dynamic metadata sets brightness, contrast and color scene by scene.

Most digital screenings are projected in 2K. 4K has four times as many pixels, so the image holds more detail.

High Dynamic Range. Brighter highlights, deeper blacks, a wider range of colors.

High Frame Rate. More frames per second, so motion looks smoother.

Laser projection with higher brightness and more accurate colors.

Standard prints are 35mm. Films shot on 70mm carry more detail, roughly equivalent to 16K. The format is rare.

Projected from an analog film print rather than a digital file. Texture and colors differ from a digital screening.
