Odins Filmtheater on the Arminiuspark is run by an association of volunteers. It opened on 4 June 2003 in lecture hall 1 of the Lippe-Institut with "Good Bye, Lenin!". After the last analogue film on 4 July 2014 the film friends founded a registered association, and the cinema has been digital since 13 April 2015. It projects with an NEC 2K projector onto a screen 6 by 2.5 metres. Shows are mostly on Wednesdays and Fridays at 19:30, and films usually arrive four to six weeks after their German release. Each month ten film friends from Bad Lippspringe and ten from the partner association in Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock choose the programme. A ticket costs 6 euros, or 7 euros for an overlong film. Tickets are sold only at the box office on the night and cannot be reserved.
