Luitpoldstraße 25, 96052 Bamberg
The Odeon is a two-screen arthouse cinema at Luitpoldstraße 25 in Bamberg, run by Gerrit Zachrich and Diana Linz, who also operate the Lichtspiel in the city. The theatre opened in 1956 as the Central-Palast, closed in 2001 and reopened as the Odeon on 31 January 2002. The programme is arthouse and repertory, mostly in the German dubbed version, with some films shown as OmU. The house has a café and a mediterranean courtyard that has been open in summer since 2006.
