Hauptstraße 86, 91054 Erlangen
The Lamm-Lichtspiele at Hauptstraße 86 is the oldest cinema still running in Erlangen. Its first screening was in 1919, then under the name Kammer-Lichtspiele. The house has run as a Filmkunsthaus since 1998 and has won the German and the Bavarian cinema programming prize every year since 2000. In Screen 1 the films play on the Onyx screen, with a sharp image and deep colour. The cinema has its own wine bar, Zum weißen Lamm. In summer the house runs an open-air cinema at the Bleiche.
