Eschborn K is the cinema of the Volksbildungswerk Eschborn e.V. The association has shown films under this name since 1972, first in the Stadthalle and since 1994 in its own rooms in the Vereinshaus at Jahnstraße 3 (entrance in the courtyard). It is one of the first Kommunale Kinos in Germany and the second oldest in Hesse. From 2016 to 2021 it won the Hessischer Film- und Kinopreis for non-commercial cinemas six times in a row. The regular film night is Friday at 20:15, and the K4Kids children's cinema runs on the first Sunday of the month. For the Kinowerkstatt the house invites guests to talk about the evening's film, Volker Schlöndorff and Daniel Cohn-Bendit among them. Subtitled originals are marked OmU. Tickets are sold through Eventim and at the box office. There is wheelchair access with a lift.
