The Erbacher Lichtspiele in the Odenwald town of Erbach has run since 1912 and has stayed in one family for three generations. The house has three screens: Kino 1 with 180 seats, Kino 3 with 120 and Kino 2 with 80. By its own account it is the oldest surviving cinema in southern Hesse.
