The Central Kino Center on Borkener Straße shows current films from Hollywood and Europe, along with German productions and international art-house cinema. It is run by Apollo Kino GmbH of Gelsenkirchen. Alongside the regular programme there is the KoKi film series. The Kino-Café shows a selected film once a month, with coffee and cake included in the ticket price. Best of Cinema brings a classic back to the big screen on the first Tuesday of every month, and the Ladies Night comes with a glass of Fruchtsecco.
