Breite Straße 13a, 23769 Burg auf Fehmarn
The Burg Filmtheater is at Breite Straße 13a in Burg auf Fehmarn and has one screen with 151 seats, tables at the seats and its own bar. The screen measures about 40 square metres, sound runs in 7.1 Dolby Surround, and the step-free auditorium has a small stage. The cinema opened on 16 March 1939 with the film "Pour le Mérite". It has belonged to Filmtheaterbetriebe Jansen since 2016. Since July 2023 its facade carries reconstructed murals based on Ernst Ludwig Kirchner's 1916 work "Die Badenden". Alongside current releases the house shows series such as Kinderkino, Mein erstes Kinoerlebnis and Seniorenkino.
