Neue Ramtelstraße 2, 71229 Leonberg
The Traumpalast Leonberg is known above all for one auditorium: its IMAX measures 38.80 × 21.00 metres, making it the largest permanent cinema screen in the world, confirmed by Guinness World Records in December 2022. It projects with dual 4K laser projectors and 12-channel sound, but in a 1.90:1 frame — a film shot on IMAX cameras runs wide here, yet cropped at the top and bottom. The remaining screens carry gemstone names from Granat to Smaragd, alongside formats like the Bed Cinema with its cinema beds, the ClubKino and the Bibliothek. Many screenings run in Dolby Atmos, and some halls offer D-BOX motion seats. The cinema sits on Neue Ramtelstraße in the north of Leonberg, a good 20-minute drive from Stuttgart.
