The cinema in Planet Harburg is the second screen of the Metropolis Kino, which the Kinemathek Hamburg runs on Kleine Theaterstraße next to the State Opera. It sits in the museum annex of the Stadtmuseum Harburg, in the former Karstadt building on Herbert-und-Greta-Wehner-Platz. Screenings run on selected days only. The programme includes silent film concerts with live music, and in the school holidays there is children's cinema for 2.50 euros admission. The nearest S-Bahn station is Harburg-Rathaus, exit Großer Schippsee.
