Kulturverein Olympiadorf

The forum2 in the Olympic Village was the cinema of the athletes of the 1972 Olympics. It sits in the basement of the primary school at Nadistraße 3, next to the sports ground, and the City of Munich converted it into a multi-purpose hall in 1980. Today it is the home of the Kulturverein Olympiadorf, founded on 8 May 1979. A volunteer group plans the evening cinema, which runs on two Fridays a month at fortnightly intervals, always at 19:30. There is also a children's cinema, and Kino-Events where the film is followed by a talk. Films in the original version with subtitles run as OmU-Kino. The nearest U-Bahn station is Olympiazentrum (U3).
