Kino & Bar in der Königstadt

Kino & Bar in der Königstadt sits in the commercial courtyard of the old Königstadt on Straßburger Straße 55 in Prenzlauer Berg. It reopened in January 2025 after more than three and a half years closed because of water damage and the repairs that followed. Films are shown on a large Samsung Onyx LED wall, and the house says it was the first cinema in Berlin to have one. The hall hosts festivals such as the Ukrainian Film Festival Berlin and INTERFILM. The Kino Club costs 10 euros a month and gives free entry to regular shows twice a month. The bar opens Wednesday to Sunday from 6 pm.
