Cinenova Köln

Cinenova opened in 1996 on Herbrandstraße in Cologne-Ehrenfeld and is still run by the family that started it. Three screens seat 341, 199 and 111. The largest received a laser projector in 2023 and is the room used for premieres. The house belongs to the Europa Cinemas network and calls itself Cologne's largest arthouse cinema. Roughly a third of the upcoming screenings in our listings are undubbed, the rest German versions of current releases. Children's programmes, previews, filmmaker visits and surf and outdoor film evenings run alongside. A bar and bistro serve into a courtyard beer garden, which becomes an open-air screen in summer.
