K1, 2, 68159 Mannheim
Cinema Quadrat is Mannheim's kommunales Kino, a municipal art-house cinema. It was founded in 1971 and is run by a non-profit association. Since November 2019 it has played on the third floor of the K1 building, right at the Abendakademie stop. The programme is film history and film art from around the world, shown in the original language with German subtitles where possible, plus film series and symposia. Projection runs from 16 mm and 35 mm film to 4K and 3D.
