The UNION-Studio für Filmkunst is an art-house cinema in the Kaiserslautern pedestrian zone. It has been in continuous use as a cinema since 1911, which makes it one of the oldest still-operating cinemas in Germany. The listed single-house building has one hall with 109 seats and projects digitally in DCI 2K. It has been run since October 2004 by Provinz 80 Programmkino GmbH. The programme is current art-house releases, and in the "1 x Original" series selected films run in the original version with subtitles. The cinema belongs to Europa Cinemas and the AG Kino.
