UCI Bad Oeynhausen on Mindener Straße is one of only five IMAX locations in UCI's German network, in a spa town in East Westphalia known for its Art Nouveau Kurpark and its therapeutic salt springs. The IMAX screen uses laser projection and optimised acoustics; the remaining auditoriums carry standard UCI digital equipment. The cinema draws audiences from Bad Oeynhausen itself and from the surrounding Minden-Luebbecke district, in a region where the nearest major city is some distance away.
