Sinema Transtopia on Lindower Straße in Wedding is a curatorial project rather than a cinema in the usual sense, using film to examine migration, diaspora and transcultural experience. Screenings are staged as events, with conversations, readings and artistic interventions around them. The programme draws on cinema from across the globe, often work by filmmakers whose perspectives come out of displacement or cultural hybridity.
