G7 10, 68159 Mannheim
The Odeon in the G7 quadrate is the oldest cinema in Mannheim still running as one. It opened in 1928 and has been a Programmkino since 1978, and its programme work has been awarded repeatedly at federal and state level. Michael Spiegel shaped it for many years, Erdmann Lange from 2004. In 2025 Wolfgang Traber, Oliver Lebert and the Kunzi family took over, the team that also opened the Planken Lichtspiele in the city centre.
