The Moselkino in Bernkastel-Kues plays in three halls: Casino 1 with 122 seats, Casino 2 with 91 seats, and Casino 3, which has run as the "Starlet" with 25 leather seats since January 2013. The name Casino comes from the building, which was once a wine-auction Casino. The first cinema in Bernkastel opened on 14 March 1920 in the Hebegasse. Alongside current releases the cinema runs regular strands such as Filmkunst and the Senioren-Kino.
