The Luna Lichtspieltheater sits in Ludwigsburg's old town, west of the Marstall-Center. KinoKult opened it in March 2000 in an 1843 sandstone building that first served as a barrel store and whose capitals come from a demolished baroque garden house in the Osterholz. The Kammer-Lichtspiele ran here in 1947. Its single screen seats 143 in steeply raked rows, which were fitted with new seats in October 2022. The screen measures 40 m². Projection is digital DLP-Cinema to DCI specification (Christie projector, Doremi server) and 35mm film on a Kinoton FP30, with 7.1 surround sound. The building is not wheelchair accessible and cannot offer wheelchair spaces. It belongs to the AG Kino-Gilde and Europa Cinemas.
