Lichtspielhaus Lennestadt

The Lichtspielhaus Lennestadt stands on Hundemstraße in the Altenhundem district and plays in three halls. The cinema was founded in 1916 by the Dettenberg family. In 1938 the building gained its present façade with the columned porch, and its seat count rose from 224 to 400. In 1987 the single large hall became the two halls Camera and Classic, and the third hall, Contrast, followed in 1988. Alongside the current releases it runs strands such as Best of Cinema and Kirchen und Kino.
