KunstBauerKino

The KunstBauerKino is an arthouse cinema in the Alte Bäckerei in Großhennersdorf, a district of Herrnhut. The non-profit association KunstBauerKino e.V. founded it in 1993 and runs it with volunteers. The step-free auditorium seats about 60. Each week it shows one to three current arthouse films, and a short film precedes each one. The association organises the International Neiße Filmfestival and shows a lot of Eastern European cinema. The same building holds the Umweltbibliothek and the Kulturcafé Alte Bäckerei with its summer garden. Admission is 7 euros, 5 reduced.
