The Krone-Theater sits in the centre of the Neustadt district, right next to the town hall and the church, and is run by Winterhalder GbR. It has two halls: the Krone hall with 144 seats (36 in the loge, 108 in the stalls) and the Krönli, completed in December 2003, with 33 seats. Both halls have projected digitally and in 3D since July 2013, and the large hall was rebuilt with new seats in November 2015. The house belongs to the Europa Cinemas network and shows, alongside the current releases, series such as Best of Cinema and the Royal Ballet and Opera relays.
