KINOPOLIS Landshut

KINOPOLIS Landshut sits Am Alten Viehmarkt, the old cattle market, in the Altstadt of the Lower Bavarian capital, a city of Gothic brick architecture below the tower of the Martinskirche. Eleven screens seat between 75 and 420, a lot for a city of around 75,000 inhabitants. The flagship auditorium is a Dolby Cinema with dual 4K projection and Atmos sound. The City Center Landshut shopping complex is nearby, and the audience comes from the medieval old town and from the wider Lower Bavarian hinterland. Every four years Landshut stages the Landshuter Hochzeit, a medieval pageant re-enacting the 1475 wedding of Duke Georg.
