KINOPOLIS Gießen

KINOPOLIS Giessen on the Ostanlage is the full-scale multiplex arm of the Kinopolis presence in this central Hessian university city, with nine screens. A Dolby Cinema hall with dual 4K projection and Atmos sound sits at the top of the range, and there is a Cinema LED Screen built from 26 million light-emitting diodes. Premium deluxe areas have leather recliners with footrests and a welcome drink included. An underground car park runs beneath the cinema, which matters in a city that is the commercial centre for much of the Lahn valley. Giessen is a university town, and the Justus-Liebig-Universitaet dominates the urban landscape.
