Kino Zukunft, meaning 'Cinema Future', is a collectively run screening space on the Stralau peninsula, a quiet, half-industrial stretch of Friedrichshain where the Spree bends. Volunteers operate it. The programme is independent, experimental and politically conscious film, and screenings are often accompanied by discussions, readings or live performances.
