The Kino Lahnstein is the town's only cinema and opened as the Turm-Theater on Turmplatz on 9 March 1962. The large hall seats 201, with 126 in the stalls and 75 on the balcony, a screen of about 70 square metres and Dolby Digital 5.1. The second, smaller hall opened on 1 April 2004, was renovated in 2019 and holds 30 armchairs with tables. Thomas Birkelbach runs the cinema. The programme carries current releases along with Kult-Events and previews.
