Segitzdamm 2, 10969 Berlin
The fsk Kino on Segitzdamm near Kottbusser Tor is a collectively run single-screen cinema in Kreuzberg. The programme concentrates on world cinema from regions that commercial distribution largely ignores, among them West Africa, Southeast Asia, Latin America and the Kurdish diaspora. Films are chosen for what they show rather than for what will sell, and the collective decides the programme by discussion rather than by a single manager.
