The forum22 in Bad Urach is a Programmkino with two screens, run by the Stadtjugendring Urach e.V. Kino 1 and Kino 2 have projected in 4K with 7.1 sound since autumn 2013. The programme mixes current releases with more demanding cinema, and the house has won the regional prize for its annual programmes eight times and the federal prize seven times. It has belonged to the Europa Cinemas network since January 2016. On Mondays it runs the Filme in Originalsprache series, original versions with German subtitles. In summer the forum22 holds an open-air cinema in the courtyard of Bad Urach castle.
