Römerstraße 11, 82205 Gilching
The Filmstation is the cinema in Gilching, run by Filmstation GmbH at Römerstraße 11. It has two screens: the blue hall with 156 seats and a 60 square metre screen, and the red hall with 94 seats and a 50 square metre screen. Both have a Sony 4K projector, 7.1 sound from Alcons Audio and 3D, with lounge seats and drink holders. The Kinocafé serves popcorn, nachos, coffee and longdrinks. Alongside the current programme the house runs strands such as Best of Cinema and family previews, plus Royal Ballet & Opera relays. Foreign films play partly in the original and partly with subtitles.
