The Filmhof Hoya has shown films in Hoya since 1929, on the bank of the Weser. It has three screens: the step-free Kino 1, Kino 2 (reachable only by stairs) and the Film-Lounge, which opened in 2016 with leather armchairs. The cinema has projected digitally since November 2012. The Weserblick café and beer garden belong to the house. Sunday afternoon is Kinotag at 2pm and 3pm, when a ticket costs 6 euros for adults and 5 euros for children.
