City Kinos München is the Munich branch of the Yorck Kinogruppe, housed in a former Volkstheater and film palace on Sonnenstraße near Karlsplatz (Stachus). Two connected cinemas, the City and the Atelier, are linked by a shared courtyard with a bar and hold five screens and over 800 seats between them. The programme follows the Yorck line of curated arthouse, European independent film and original-version screenings, with premieres, Sunday matinees and late-night shows. Yorck Unlimited members can use their membership here as well.
