The CineStar CUBIX is a nine-screen multiplex on Alexanderplatz in Berlin, housed in a cubic glass building with six foyer levels. It opened in November 2000 and seats 2,274. Since 2007 it has been an official Berlinale venue, with premieres and gala screenings during the festival. The glass facade brings daylight deep into the foyers. Programming runs from arthouse to blockbusters.
