The Cineplex on Europaplatz is the cinema of Siegburg, a town on a hill above the Sieg, near the point where the river joins the Rhine. Michaelsberg Abbey, a Benedictine foundation, stands above the town and defines its skyline. Siegburg has become an important node in the Bonn-Cologne corridor, and its ICE station connects directly to Frankfurt Airport. The medieval centre is compact and clusters around the abbey hill.
