The Cineplex on Berliner Straße is a straightforward multiplex in Euskirchen, a Rhineland town roughly equidistant from Cologne, Bonn and the Eifel uplands that is the regional centre for the surrounding villages and farming communities. The Ahr valley floods of 2021 struck parts of the Euskirchen district with particular severity, and the town is still recovering.
