CinemaxX Hamburg-Dammtor

The CinemaxX on Dammtordamm is Hamburg's largest multiplex, with twenty-nine screens; the main auditorium seats over a thousand in front of a 264-square-metre screen. It stands at the edge of Planten un Blomen, near Dammtor station and the old Botanical Garden. Hall 1 has MaxXimum Sound, MaxXimum 3D, HFR and 4K projection, and hosts premieres during the Hamburg Film Festival. All twenty-nine auditoriums project in digital 4K, and several have been fitted with electric recliner seats. It is the largest cinema operation in northern Germany.
