Central-Theater Cineclub

The Centraltheater is an arthouse cinema in the centre of Leutkirch im Allgäu with 120 seats, run by the cineclub Leutkirch e.V. and its more than 300 members. The cinema dates from 1929 and was enlarged in 1956 to a parterre and a balcony. The ticket booth and other details from the 1950s survive. The auditorium has a balcony and a parterre that slopes towards the back in front of a tall screen. Projection has been digital since mid-2013, using a Sony 4K projector. The members choose the programme four times a year, each time for three months.
