The Central-Lichtspiele on Hauptstraße continues a cinema tradition in Herzberg that reaches back to 1929. It has carried this name since 1981 and is run by Matthias Bick. A second screen opened in 2007, and the house now has three screens with Dolby 3D Digital in all three and Higher Frame Rate in screens 1 and 2. Monday and Tuesday are Kinotag, when a ticket costs 6 euros, apart from holidays, 3D films, special shows and national release dates.
