The Central opened in December 1958 as the second cinema in Ketsch. The style of the fifties survives in the hall's form and furnishings, while the projection is current. The cinema is carried by a club, the Central Kino Ketsch e. V. Beside the current releases run an OmU series, documentaries, Kirchenkino and Strickkino nights.
