Rossbrunnenstraße 3, 35510 Butzbach
The Capitol Kino is at Rossbrunnenstraße 3 in Butzbach's old town and has two screens, Capitol and Bambi. The house has shown film for over seven decades. It is run by the Butzbacher Filmtheater Betriebsgesellschaft, which Ralf Bartel took over in 1999. The programme runs from current releases to arthouse, children's film series and travel and documentary films, with special events and guests. The Capitol hall was reseated in 2023, with recliner seats in the front row, and got a new screen of about 60 square metres in 2024.
