B-Movie is an independent, volunteer-run cinema in a backyard courtyard on Brigittenstraße in St. Pauli. It has been going since 1987 as part of the B-Movie Kulturinitiative. The programme is built around monthly themed series of smaller, lesser-known and controversial films, including genre work, underground and experimental cinema. Screenings run on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, without advertising and in 2D only.
