Acud Kino is a tiny screening room inside Acud Haus on Veteranenstraße in Mitte, a venue that also holds a gallery, a club and a theatre stage. The programme tends toward the experimental, the essayistic and the documentary. Audiences drift between the events, catching an installation before a screening or staying for a DJ set after it. Acud dates from the early post-reunification years, when artists moved into Mitte's empty buildings.
