ZOOM Kino

The ZOOM Kino at Uhlstraße 3 in Brühl is run by the association ZOOM Kino e.V., founded on 2 June 1986 as ZOOM Brühler Kinotreff. For ten years it showed films in the rooms of the adult education centre (Volkshochschule). Its own cinema, with 65 seats, opened on 30 November 1996. Afternoons are for children's screenings, evenings for current films. Wednesday evening belongs to a themed monthly series, and the last Wednesday of the month is for short films. Tickets can only be reserved at the box office or by phone. An evening ticket costs 8 euros, 5 for members. In summer the cinema moves for a while into the town hall courtyard.
