Annaberger Straße 24, 09111 Chemnitz
The Kino im Weltecho is the cinema of the Weltecho arts and communication centre at Annaberger Straße 24, in the former Kammer der Technik building. The centre is run by the associations Das Ufer e.V. and Oscar e.V., which moved in on 28 April 2007. The room has 70 seats on 100 square metres and a Sony 4K projection system. The programme covers current arthouse and film classics, silent films with live music, original-language films with subtitles and some current mainstream releases. The same building houses a café, a club, a studio and a gallery.
