The Weltbio Kino-Center is on Rückertstraße, in Schweinfurt's pedestrian zone. The site opened as a cinema in 1921. The story goes back further: in 1917 the Soko brothers started out on Fischerrain with a hall for 180 people. In 1989 the parents of today's operator, Sabine Winter, took the house over. It now has five screens. Kino 1 is the largest, with 300 seats, 7.1 sound and a round floor plan. Three screens show 3D with active glasses. 3D films cost 2 euros extra, the glasses nothing. Monday is cinema day, when adults pay 6 euros.
