li.wu. Warnemünde

Under the name li.wu. Warnemünde, the Rostock arthouse li.wu. (Lichtspieltheater Wundervoll), operated by the association Ro-cine e.V., screens films at the Kleine Komödie Warnemünde. The Kleine Komödie at Rostocker Straße 8 sits near the Baltic beach and is one of the stages of the Volkstheater Rostock. Theatre was played here as early as 1914, and the building later ran as a cinema called Seestern. On 15 May 1968 it opened as the Volkstheater's Kleine Komödie. The hall seats 68 at 10 tables and can only be reached by stairs. li.wu. screens here on single days, with two shows each time. Tickets are sold at the door, and li.wu. takes reservations.
