The StattKino is a private initiative of film fans who, together with the Weinhaus Mehling, run a regular programme of ambitious films for Lohr and the surrounding area. Screenings take place in the wine house's Kulturkeller at Hauptstraße 30, on the lower Marktplatz by the Märchenbrunnen. Admission is 5 €. The programme runs in two-month seasons, mostly on Wednesdays at 18:00 and again around 20:00. On some Tuesdays the film runs at 18:00 in the original with subtitles. Seats can be reserved on the website, and reservations are honoured until 16:30.
