Poststraße 5, 95100 Selb
The Spektrum Selb on Poststraße 5 is the town's municipal cinema. The town of Selb has run the former Kino Center Selb since May 2019, when it was facing closure. It reopened in November 2023 after a renovation. Kinosaal 4 became a room for film and art with support from the Käthe und Helmut-Drexler-Stiftung, and the Designcafé in the foyer shows changing exhibitions. On Thursdays at 15:30 the Kaffeeklatsch series serves coffee and cake before the film. The Sprachfilmreihe shows films in their original language with subtitles. The cinema is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. A ticket costs 9.50 euros, children up to 12 pay 6 euros.
