Dudenhöfer Straße 33, 63110 Rodgau
The Saalbau Lichtspiele on Dudenhöfer Straße in Rodgau began as a hall built by a private brewery in 1880. It has been a cinema since 1928. A renovation in 1985 replaced the 300 folding chairs with 150 upholstered seats with tables, with one metre between rows. A second, identically equipped auditorium opened in 1997, and the house has had 250 seats since. Reserved seats have been sold online without a booking fee since 2018. Alongside current releases there is a Frauenfilmtag (women's film day).
